Assistant Coach – Basketball (Boys) - Lee's Summit West HS

2026-27 School Year Description: The assistant coach is responsible for assisting with planning, managing and directing the high school boys Basketball team program. Specific shall include, but are not limited to the following tasks: Assistant Coaching the boys Basketball team.Assist with managing all aspects of the program including practicing, competing, providing off-season improvement opportunities to include strength and conditioning and full usage of contact daysMarketing and promoting the boys Basketball programAssistant Coaching, guiding, and providing feedback to student athletesScouting opponentsAssist with managing a fiscally sound budgetAssist with monitoring class schedules, grades and student-athlete academic progress, and intervening where appropriate.Responsible for boys Basketball student-athlete retentionArticulation with the feeder middle school programProviding summer camp opportunities for elementary and/or middle school students
