About the role
The Assistant Coach will support the head coach in all aspects of boys basketball, including game planning, player development, and team management.
Responsibilities
- Assist in game preparation and strategy discussions
- Work closely with players to improve their skills and performance
- Manage team logistics and travel arrangements
- Participate in team meetings and parent communications
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in physical education or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of coaching experience at the high school level
- Strong understanding of NCAA rules and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Experience working with diverse student populations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for basketball and commitment to Falcon athletics
