Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator

About the role

A leading early-phase clinical research site in Miami is seeking an Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator to support a fast-paced clinical pharmacology unit. This is a great opportunity for someone with clinical or research experience looking to build a career in clinical trial coordination, working closely alongside CRCs and Principal Investigators.

Responsibilities

• Support assigned Clinical Research Coordinators with study schedules, flowsheets, and procedure prep
• Discuss and administer Informed Consent Forms
• Perform clinical tasks including venipuncture, vital signs, ECGs, and other assessments
• Ensure procedure areas are properly stocked and study-ready
• Support adverse event reporting and notify staff of abnormal results
• Communicate with study participants to explain procedures and gather data
• Attend study initiation meetings and team meetings on protocol requirements
• Maintain current BLS/ACLS certification and required CEUs

Requirements

• Clinical or research experience — Medical Assistants, Patient Care Technicians, Research Assistants, or similar clinical/medical office backgrounds welcomed
• Comfortable performing clinical procedures under a structured protocol
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communicator, comfortable interacting directly with study participants
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus, not required
• Must be based in or willing to work on-site full-time in Miami, FL
