Assistant Clinical Manager - OP- Tomorrow Fund Clinic

Responsibilities

• Participates with Program Administrator in development of department policies and procedures related to provision of nursing care to ambulatory patients.
• Participates in interviews, recommends selection, orients and evaluates professional nurse staff and other subordinate patient care providers for designated ambulatory patient population.
• Recommends corrective action, up to and including discharge as appropriate.
• Identifies training/development needs of staff to Ambulatory Clinical Manager to ensure continued development/maintenance of skills to meet nursing care standards.
• Identifies and recommends environmental/technological/personnel resources necessary to meet anticipated needs.
• Affords assistance in assessing quality of care, documenting compliance to ambulatory care standards, recommend corrective action and monitors effectiveness of interventions.
• May assist staff in implementing new concepts and technology within the area of responsibility.
• May function in expanded management role in absence of Ambulatory Program Administrator.
• Regularly functions as professional nurse to provide direct patient care.
• May participate in department-based research projects.
• Affords assistance to staff in implementing approved research findings into practice.

Qualifications

• Licensure as Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island by the Rhode Island Board of Nursing or licensure as a Registered Nurse in accordance with the Nurse Licensure Compact agreement of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• At least three years relevant experience, with demonstrated clinical and supervisory responsibilities, preferred.
• Active Pediatric Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider with 2-3 years of pediatric hematology/oncology preferred.

Pay

$90,334.40 - $180,689.60
