About the role

KidsPeace is seeking an Assistant Clinical Manager for Residential Services. This role supports the Clinical Manager in delivering clinical services within the residential program, focusing on quality, integrity, and coordination of services.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Clinical Manager and Program Director on the delivery of all clinical services.
  • Ensure that all standards of ethical behavior, professional conduct, and mental health requirements are followed.
  • Ensure that all standards of documentation are upheld based on policies and regulation.
  • Design, implement, and monitor new and innovative approaches in the development of the residential program.
  • Responsible for the recruitment, supervision, development, and training of all clinical staff.
  • Maintain professional licensure.
  • Complete 40 hours of training per calendar year in accordance with all corporate and regulatory requirements as required.
  • Maintain a fiscal awareness regarding census and budget related issues.
  • Provide oversight, supervision, and when necessary direct involvement with both internal and external customers, maintaining positive customer relationships and facilitating open lines of communication to best address the needs of the children in our care.
  • Ensure continued risk assessment and risk management related to each individual child and to the overall assigned program.
  • Aid in the performance and observation of restraints as necessary when ordered by a licensed professional using the current approved KidsPeace restraint methodology on youth who may weigh in excess of 250 pounds and who are verbally or physically threatening or otherwise present a threat to themselves or others.
  • Attend ITT Meetings and ensure meetings are focused, comprehensive, and appropriate in goal and discharge planning.
  • Attend all applicable meetings and participate on appropriate committees.
  • Maintain awareness of the KidsPeace continuum of services and actively promote the internal transfer and referral of children and families whenever clinically indicated.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in a related clinical discipline and appropriate licensure required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of direct treatment experience with children / adolescents required.
  • Must possess basic personal computer knowledge and skills.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Valid driver’s license, SCM certification, CPR/First Aid certification required.

$5,000 Sign On Bonus (The sign on bonus will be paid in two $2,500 installments, the first payroll following 30 days of employment and the first payroll following 180 days of employment.)
