Assistant Clinical Manager-2nd shift

About the Role

The Assistant Clinical Manager assumes 24/7 operational responsibility when the Clinical Manager is not available. This includes direct oversight of daily activities in the designated specialty area or department, accountability for patient care quality, nursing staff performance, budget management assistance, and the orientation and development of new staff. The role involves modeling positive leadership behavior, ensuring the completion of individual and team tasks, and supporting departmental and organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the designated specialty area or department.
• Ensure high-quality patient care and nursing staff performance.
• Assist with budget management.
• Orient and develop new staff members.
• Model positive leadership behavior and set the tone for the team.
• Support the successful completion of tasks, projects, and responsibilities aligned with departmental and organizational goals.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with patients in the designated specialty area.
• Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR certification.
• Florida Registered Nurse (RN) License.

Preferred

• Program management, teaching, consulting, and outcome management experience.
• Certification in nursing specialty area.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including handling difficult situations diplomatically.
• Ability to take initiative, exercise independent judgment, and provide decision-making expertise.
• Effective oral and written communication skills at all levels.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and understanding of group processes, teamwork, and cost center-based management.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM–7:30 PM.
