Key Responsibilities
- Verify coverage and investigate, evaluate, and negotiate fair settlements for property, liability, and auto claims
- Conduct annual safety inspections and promote risk awareness through seminars and educational materials
- Monitor risk management policies and assist with updates to ensure they remain current
- Perform site inspections to confirm appropriate property coverage and limits
- Maintain effective communication with diocesan personnel, pastors, and administrators
- Serve as a liaison between the Arch/Diocese and the CMG Home Office
- Respond to emergencies and claims-related issues outside regular business hours as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Three to five years of property claims adjusting experience preferred
- Familiarity with Catholic Church procedures and hierarchy preferred, but not required
- Working knowledge of insurance, marketing, rates, and communications
- Strong judgment and sound decision-making skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Willingness to travel and work flexible or irregular hours as needed
