Responsibilities
- Quality: Assists CNO in formulating policies/procedures, performs regular rounds, ensures continuous performance improvement, identifies system problems, and fosters an exceptional patient experience.
- Service: Promotes positive patient interactions, supports patient experience strategies, and collaborates with physicians and other healthcare providers.
- People: Fosters independence and autonomy, provides leadership, assists in continuing education, and acts as a preceptor.
- Growth: Assists in planning new services, manages the nursing services budget, and collaborates on project teams.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required, Master's Degree in Nursing or related healthcare field or equivalent experience required.
- Experience: 5+ years of supervisory nursing experience and 5+ years of direct leadership experience in a hospital or patient care environment required.
- Licenses/Certifications: Current licensure as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or an active compact license required.
