Pipeline Construction Inspector (Multi-Discipline) Summary: Field inspector responsible for monitoring pipeline construction and infrastructure work to ensure compliance with project specs, client standards, and applicable codes. Covers multiple disciplines across the full construction spectrum. Scope / Responsibilities Inspect excavation, dirt work, and backfill operations for compliance with grade, depth, and bedding requirementsMonitor welding and NDE activities; verify weld quality and documentationOversee coating application and inspect for defects/holidaysWitness and document hydrotesting procedures and resultsInspect flange bolt-up, tie-ins, and hot tap connectionsMonitor mechanical lifts and rigging for safe, spec-compliant executionInspect civil work, fencing, and site restorationOversee I&E (instrumentation & electrical) installation and terminationsDocument daily progress, deficiencies, and corrective actions; report to project leadership Qualifications 5+ years pipeline/construction inspection experience across multiple disciplinesRelevant certifications a plus (API, NACE/AMPP, CWI, OQ)Strong knowledge of pipeline codes and client specsSolid documentation and reporting skillsWilling to travel and work in the field
