Assistant Category Manager - Woodworking or CNC experience

Position Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and execution of sales aids and mock-ups.
• Hands on approach in taking a concept and delivering ideas and execute on production of the signed off concept.
• Collaborate with other departments to derive at a solution in development that will meet the needs of the sales force.
• Develop, communicate and work effectively with outside vendors as well as internal production.
• Work with Marketing to make sure Brand standards are adhered to.
• Must be highly motivated, proactive and willing to take on new challenges.
• Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Strong basic mathematical skills are required, including fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook and Word.

Education, Work Experience, Certification And /or Licensure

• Bachelor’s degree from four-year College or University or related industry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of CNC operation preferred.

Additional Or Desired Requirements

• Knowledge of furniture construction and woodworking.
• Woodworking skills.
• Background and aptitude for future Category Management consideration.
