Assistant Case Manager

About the role

Status: Non-exempt

Responsibilities

• Provides supervised visitation for children and their families.
• Transports clients to and from visits, foster care placements, and other identified appointments.
• Promotes positive parenting and child development while reducing the risk of child maltreatment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license, risk-free driving record.
• Child abuse/neglect, criminal history, sexual offender, and childcare/elder care disqualification list screenings.
• Pre-employment drug screen and physical.
• American Red Cross first aid and CPR certification.

Skills

• Manual dexterity for operating office equipment.
• Normal range of hearing and vision.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to drive and transport clients.

Schedule

Works in a typical office setting and from home or other community locations as established by a flexible work agreement.
