About the role
The Assistant Cafe I position at the BEACON - Brevard Employment Application Center ONline is responsible for assisting in the operation of the cafe.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and serving meals to students and staff.
- Ensure food safety and compliance with all regulations.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in food service or related field preferred.
- Valid Florida Food Handlers Card.
Qualifications
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
