About the role
The Assistant Cafe I position at Mims Elementary School is responsible for assisting in the preparation and serving of meals to students and staff.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to students and staff.
- Ensure food safety and compliance with all regulations.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Florida Food Handler’s Card.
- Experience in food service or related field preferred.
Qualifications
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
