Assistant Branch Manager - Sales Manager Trainee ($1,500 sign-on bonus!)

About the role

This entry-level financial services position offers a competitive salary of $45,000 per year (paid hourly), plus an uncapped monthly bonus that averages $8,000 annually. We are also offering a $1,500 sign-on bonus. The role includes a clear path to management through an 18–24 month on-the-job paid training program, with promotion to Branch Manager typically requiring relocation (a full relocation package is provided).

Responsibilities

• Originate new loan business by contacting current and potential customers to understand their financial needs and recommend consumer loan and voluntary product solutions.
• Educate customers on consumer lending services, including credit improvement and debt consolidation.
• Assist customers through the loan application process and make payment reminder calls.
• Evaluate loan applications, perform risk analysis, make credit decisions, administer loan closings, and process insurance claims.
• Assist the Branch Manager with recruiting, training, and developing plans to meet sales goals while promoting core values and ensuring an outstanding customer experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (ideal majors include Business, Finance, Sales, or related field).
• 1+ year of customer-facing sales experience (e.g., retail sales, goal-oriented, incentive-based) preferred but not required.
• Professional demeanor, positive attitude, strong communication, and customer relations skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, auto insurance, and a satisfactory driving record.
• Must meet acceptable standards for criminal background history, credit history, and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to meet eligibility requirements for insurance licensing (based on a state-conducted criminal background check).
• Willingness and ability to relocate for promotion into a Branch Manager role (full relocation package provided for moves over 50 miles).
