Assistant Branch Manager
Job Duties
Aid in the business forecast and annual operating plans for the branch.
Review monthly operating results against forecast to identify areas of focus and improvement.
Enforce adherence to company policy by personnel at the branch to ensure compliance with internal and external safety, environmental, and fiscal standards.
Participate in establishing long-range goals, objectives, and/or strategies, and communicate them to Branch personnel to motivate them to achieve them.
Analyze activities, costs, operations, and/or forecast data to determine the branch's progress towards divisional and corporate initiatives.
(e.g. Productivity, Wheeltime implementation, technician recruitment and retention, etc.)
Lead related change efforts at the local level.
Recommend and implement corrective action or procedural changes based on findings of above analyses.
Monitor the success of these changes to assure continuous improvement.
Solve escalated customer or employee issues to achieve the best possible outcome – satisfied and loyal customers and employees.
Maintain facility and equipment to corporate standards and specifications; negotiate with local providers of services and/or repairs to keep facility/equipment expenses within budgets.
Recruit, promote, and/or hire qualified candidates for open positions at the branch.
Aid in employees' performance, developing individual performance plans that lead to optimal people performance.
Confer with Branch Manager and Divisional Leadership to review operational performance and discuss required changes in goals or objectives resulting from current status and conditions.
Promote and build a workplace culture of engagement, growth, development, open communication, and civility.
Job Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Management or Leadership experience preferred.
- Ability to identify and implement process efficiencies.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
