About the role
The Assistant Branch Manager is responsible for providing superior member relations, promoting sales and service culture, achieving sales goals, assisting the Branch Manager, supervising branch operations, and managing multiple priorities.
Responsibilities
- Provide superior member relations and promote sales and service culture through coaching, guidance, and staff motivation.
- Achieve individual and branch sales goals through new business sales, referrals, and retention of account relationships.
- Aid the Branch Manager in developing new deposits and loan business.
- Supervise efficient daily operations of the branch, including operations, lending, product sales, member service, and security and safety.
Requirements
- Availability to work 40 hours per week Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:15am – 5:15pm and rotating Saturdays 8:45am – 1:15pm at our Minneapolis South branch location; exempt.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field, or four years of equivalent work experience.
- Two years of experience in a sales position promoting products and services.
- Valid state driver’s license and insurance.
- Experience coaching and motivating a team, preferred.
- Track record of successful sales.
- Strong interpersonal skills, maturity, and good judgment.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Positive personal projection as demonstrated by professional appearance and attitude.
- Ability to work in a complex, competitive, and rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to analyze and resolve situations independently.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, effectively delegate, and set deadlines.
Qualifications
- Compliant with TruStone Financial’s SAFE Act Policy, including fingerprint submission, FBI background check, and NMLS registration.
- Compliant with Bank Secrecy Act and all its provisions.
- Pass a pre-employment drug test and various background checks.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $54,500.00 to $75,000 per year.
Schedule
Available to work 40 hours per week Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:15am – 5:15pm and rotating Saturdays 8:45am – 1:15pm at our Minneapolis South branch location; exempt.
