About the role
The Assistant Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations at the branch level, ensuring customer satisfaction, and managing staff effectively.
Responsibilities
- Oversee branch operations, including cash handling and security protocols.
- Manage and motivate a team of tellers and support staff.
- Ensure compliance with all banking regulations and policies.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints, providing prompt and effective solutions.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer service and branch productivity.
- Participate in branch meetings and training sessions to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of banking experience, preferably in a management capacity.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of banking products and services.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with bank management systems and software.
