About the role
The Assistant Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a branch, ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with all policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Oversee branch operations, including staffing, scheduling, and training staff.
- Manage branch finances, including budgeting, cash handling, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and bank policies.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints, providing excellent customer service.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase branch productivity and profitability.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of banking or financial services experience.
- Proven leadership and management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with branch management software is a plus.
