Your day to day
- Assist the Branch Manager and help oversee branch operations
- Monitor office activities
- Open new accounts
- Support and oversee consumer lending and loan production
- Cross-sell products
- Recruit new members
- Lead and coach employees
- Drive staff retention and productivity
- Uphold the credit union's high standards
- Collaborate with the Regional Team and upper management to execute Strategic Plan objectives
The Assistant Branch Manager position
- Based out of the Columbia area
- Requires travel to all Columbia area locations, as well as periodic travel to other branches including in Aiken, Orangeburg, Florence, and Charleston
- Mileage is paid for out-of-town travel
What we're looking for
- An associate's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in a related field
- Previous experience in credit unions or other financial institutions
- A solid background in staff management, consumer lending, and branch operations
- Proficiency in various policies and procedures governing financial services
- Strong leadership skills
- Effective communication abilities
- A member-centric approach to service delivery
- Familiarity with relevant software and tools utilized in credit union operations
