About the role
Sound Credit Union is currently seeking an Assistant Branch Manager for their Graham Branch. This role is ideal for someone passionate about helping others, with a banking or credit union background, who wants to leverage their leadership skills to support and coach their team.
Responsibilities
- Coach and lead employees in the branch, maintaining a highly motivated, well-trained staff.
- Act as the go-to person for problem solving in the absence of the Branch Manager.
- Build long-term relationships with members by assisting with routine financial transactions, opening new consumer accounts, and assisting them in achieving financial milestones.
Requirements
- 3+ years of successful work experience as a Universal Associate/Personal Banker or equivalent position at a financial institution required.
- Experience in opening new accounts and loans required.
- 2+ years experience in a management role or demonstrated experience in a leadership position preferred.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be bondable.
- Employer sponsorship to secure or maintain employment authorization not available.
- Must have Notary and NMLS certifications as per WA State Law.
Qualifications
- Must be able to work in-person on a flexible schedule: Tuesday - Friday: 8:45AM - 5:45PM & Saturdays 8:45AM – 1:15PM.
- Must be able to work 40+ hours per week as business needs dictate.

Pay
The target salary range for this position is $63,200 - $79,000 depending on previous experience and education. The full salary range is $63,200 - $94,800.
Schedule
This position requires an in-person schedule: Tuesday - Friday: 8:45AM - 5:45PM & Saturdays 8:45AM – 1:15PM. This position works 40+ hours per week as business needs dictate.
