About the role
This role is located at 1077 Freeport Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15238. The schedule is Monday - Thursday from 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM and Friday from 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. The position requires flexibility around branch hours.
Responsibilities
- Determines financial services needs for customers and refers them to other lines of business as appropriate.
- Opens loan and deposit accounts.
- Achieves individual goals including loan and deposit production and other sales goals as assigned.
- Supports the Branch Manager in supervising the branch customer service function.
- Completes frontline, platform sales, and RSS operational training as assigned.
- Provides coaching to staff regarding sales expectations and goal achievement.
- Utilizes appropriate customer service/correspondence software to streamline and improve efficiency.
- Prepares loan applications using LOS software and coordinates loan document preparation.
- Opens new deposit accounts and produces signature cards, certificates of deposit, and other deposit documents.
- Suggests additional bank services such as other loan accounts, deposit services, and insurance products.
- Makes referrals to other lines of business as needed.
- Follows up on loans and deposit accounts opened and corrects deficiencies or document exceptions.
- Completes outbound campaign calls on new and existing customers to generate new business.
- Works with customers on loan inquiries, takes loan applications, and utilizes decision power applications as needed.
- Contributes to branch goals and sales/service standards as outlined in the playbook.
- Executes professional sales and service behaviors in alignment with the bank's purpose, values, and core drivers.
- Maintains a good working relationship with bank employees in other departments.
- Completes NLMS requirements as part of S.A.F.E. Act certification.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Specialized training or a two-year degree preferred.
- Five to ten years of general business experience, one to two years of supervisory experience preferred.
- Successful completion of the retail training program required.
Qualifications
- Completion of PB requirements.
- Physical demands include operating a keypad device, electronic equipment, and office equipment; standing for 2 hours, sitting for 5 hours, lifting up to 10 lbs. twice, and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Specific vision requirements include close vision of 18”-20” for computer work.
