Role Overview
The Assistant Branch Manager supports the Branch Manager in overseeing daily branch operations to meet customer needs and sales goals in compliance with bank policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Universal Banker training, coach staff, and promote sales.
- Open, close, and assume branch responsibilities in the absence of the Branch Manager.
- Process transactions such as account openings, wire transfers, stop payments, and maintain customer records.
- Conduct cash drawer audits, test security systems, and ensure branch safety.
- Maintain compliance with regulations and cross-sell bank products and services.
- Assist on the transaction line and deliver excellent customer service.
- Schedule staff coverage and assume additional duties as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
- 2-3 years of retail banking experience with knowledge of banking products and services.
- High school diploma or equivalent; supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong customer service, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to learn software applications quickly and handle customer interactions tactfully.
Physical & Work Environment
