Assistant Branch Manager

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Drive sales performance by efficiently managing a dynamic workflow and meeting productivity targets, ensuring timely, high-quality service.
  • Consistently deliver a high-energy, sales-focused customer experience.
  • Actively sell and cross-sell credit and loan products by assessing customer needs and recommending appropriate solutions.
  • Own the full loan process, from application through funding, using strong product knowledge to close sales.
  • Maintain accurate cash handling while following all company security and audit procedures.
  • Accurately receive, post, and track payments and fees in compliance with company policy.
  • Transport funds and deposits to and from the bank as required.
  • Increase branch profitability by growing account volume and improving customer retention.
  • Manage delinquency building rapport, offering tailored payment options, and converting delinquent accounts into resolved balances.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in sales-driven customer service, retail sales, or cash-handling environments.
  • Ability to pass drug screening and criminal and credit background checks.
  • Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle with required liability insurance.

Pay

The typical pay for this role is an average of $46,000, which can vary based on location and cost of living adjustments.

Schedule

The typical working hours are 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday through Friday with some Saturdays required. Overtime may be required on an as needed basis and is at the discretion of upper management.

Working Conditions

This position works in an office providing consumer loan products in person and over the phone.
