Assistant Branch Manager

About the role

The Assistant Branch Manager at Fremont Bank is responsible for delivering exceptional service, managing day-to-day operations, and building relationships with both consumers and businesses. They are also prepared to step in as the Branch Manager in their absence.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and expand client relationships.
• Recommend and refer products and services to clients.
• Manage internal and external relationships to enhance client satisfaction.
• Support branch management by running operations, coaching, and training.
• Handle cash transactions as needed.
• Assist with branch meetings and training workshops.
• Conduct telemarketing and follow-up duties as assigned.
• Perform various operational tasks, including opening/closing the branch, processing transactions, and reviewing NSFs.
• Track and report on sales goals and assist in meeting branch objectives.
• Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies and managing team performance.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of sales and customer service experience in banking.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Successfully passed the Regulation CC Exam, Operational Knowledge Exam, and obtained Signing Authority.
• Knowledgeable in small business deposit and lending products.
• Proven success in small business lending and prospecting.
• Understanding of banking regulatory compliance issues.
• Excellent listening and presentation skills.
• Basic computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• College degree preferred.
