Assistant Branch Manager

About the role

The Assistant Branch Manager plays a crucial role in managing daily operations of a branch, ensuring smooth customer service, promoting security, and driving profitability. This position requires strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills to support a team and foster a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day branch activities including operations, administration, and providing directions to branch staff
• Absorb and coach sales staff to enhance customer interactions and sales quality
• Maintain and monitor sales results, develop strategies to meet goals, and provide guidance on departmental projects and issues
• Lead, mentor, and motivate team members to align with department strategy and workflow
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships by offering friendly, helpful solutions to financial challenges

Requirements

• High school diploma required, associate degree preferred
• 3+ years of leadership/supervisory experience
• 1+ year of experience in the financial services industry with knowledge of retail products and services

• Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Pay

The hourly compensation range for this position is $26.45 to $30.30, based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies. Additional compensation may be available through performance-based incentive plans.

Schedule

Monday - Friday: 8:15am-5:15pm
Saturday: 8:45am-12:15pm
