Assistant Box Office Manager
About the role
The Assistant Box Office Manager oversees ticket sales and all aspects of Box Office operation. Key responsibilities include assisting in ticketing system programming, preparing reports, managing ticket sellers, processing group and complimentary ticket requests, maintaining ticket inventory, and responding to customer inquiries.
Responsibilities
- Assists in programming ticketing systems for events and works closely with event promoters.
- Prepares daily business transaction report.
- Prepares nightly deposits and reconciliations.
- Schedules and supervises ticket sellers.
- Processes group sale orders and complimentary ticket requests.
- Manages cash banks and daily ticket inventory.
- Prepares final box office statements for event settlements.
- Responds to customer service requests and complaints.
- Maintains event files, seat hold records, and ticket inventory schedules.
- Maintains accurate ticket sales and money counts.
- Opens and closes the ticket window as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of related experience required (or a combination of education and experience).
- Experience in basic accounting and customer service.
- Box Office experience in a similar environment preferred.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
Skills and Abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Good communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Professional presentation, appearance, and work ethic.
- Excellent customer service and public relations skills.
- Ability to work event hours, including nights and weekends.

Working Conditions
