Bakery Assistant Manager Job Summary High volume bakery is seeking a Full Time team-oriented candidate for the Bakery Assistant Manager position. Ideal candidate must be courteous and possess excellent leadership and customer service skills. Candidate must also be willing to work weekdays/nights, weekends and/or holidays. Essential Functions Oversee and perform all duties of the counter Monitor and maintain store inventory parsMaintain a very clean work environment Monitor daily cake/pastry orders and matrixRecord all deliveries(paper, produce etc) and any errorsCoach and support new and existing staff membersOversee register and cash drawer to have appropriate amount of bills and changeWeekly trip to the bank Handle customer orders and requests in store and over the phoneScanning of all orders taken in store to office and Terra BakeryMaintain all temperature logs, waste and inventory sheetsMake sure all employees follow company policies and guidelinesMaintain professionalism and set an example for all staff Physical Demands: Physical, Mental and Workplace Environment Conditions The employee is regularly required to use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hearThe employee is frequently required to stand and walkSpecific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, distance vision, color vision & focus Working Conditions: Workplace Environment Conditions Kitchen environment. The noise level in this workplace is usually moderate to high.
