About the role

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is currently seeking a talented part-time Assistant Bread Baker.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate superhero abilities in the kitchen, following recipes and paying close attention to details to create unique breads.
• Lift large amounts of dough, flour, and other supplies weighing up to 50 lbs. daily.
• Work through changes and remain flexible while maintaining focus on the baking process.
• Work afternoons, nights, and Sundays, with potential for overnight shifts during holidays.

Requirements

• Proven track record of baking and pastry skills.
• Experience working with large-scale baking and pastry.
• Formal baking/pastry education is a plus.
• Ability to comply with local, state, and federal food handler and sanitation standards.
• Flexible schedule to accommodate afternoons, nights, and Sundays, including potential overnight shifts during holidays.

• At least 18 years of age.
