Assistant Audit Director
Salary
The annual salary for this position ranges from $115,000 to $120,000. The final offer will be commensurate with the candidate’s relevant experience and qualifications.
Purpose of Position
Affords assistance to the department by supporting audits and projects outlined in the Annual Audit Plan within the allocated budget. Oversees and leads audits and projects, communicates audit results through reports and presentations, and manages special projects and investigations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, management, business administration, or a related field with seven (7) years of relevant experience in governmental audit to include three (3) years of supervisory responsibilities.
- Professional certification (CIA and/or CPA).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in accounting, finance, information technology, business, or a related field with five (5) years experience in higher education.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong project management skills and experience.
- Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and practices, professional auditing standards and techniques.
Work Schedule
Monday through Friday; 8:00am through 5:00pm. Flexible start times between 7:00am or as late as 8:30am. Requires occasional evening or weekend hours.

Uses standard office equipment.
