About the Role

We are seeking experienced trial attorneys for two Assistant Attorneys General positions within our Special Prosecutions Section. These grant-funded roles will serve in Federal Court as special assistant U.S. attorneys, prosecuting criminal aliens (non-U.S. citizens who commit crimes) with a focus on fraud cases.

One position will report daily to the U.S. Attorney's Office in Columbus, Ohio, and the other to the U.S. Attorney's Office in Cleveland, Ohio.

Responsibilities

  • Prosecute criminal cases in federal court, with an emphasis on fraud.
  • Triage and prioritize multiple assignments efficiently.
  • Collaborate with coworkers, law enforcement, and professional witnesses.

Requirements

  • Licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio pursuant to Section 4705.01 of the Ohio Revised Code.
  • Experience as a prosecutor in federal or state court (preferred: federal court experience).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a high-pressure environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience as a prosecutor in federal or state court.
  • Experience in fraud investigation and prosecution.

Schedule

  • Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
