About the Role
We are seeking experienced trial attorneys for two Assistant Attorneys General positions within our Special Prosecutions Section. These grant-funded roles will serve in Federal Court as special assistant U.S. attorneys, prosecuting criminal aliens (non-U.S. citizens who commit crimes) with a focus on fraud cases.
One position will report daily to the U.S. Attorney's Office in Columbus, Ohio, and the other to the U.S. Attorney's Office in Cleveland, Ohio.
Responsibilities
- Prosecute criminal cases in federal court, with an emphasis on fraud.
- Triage and prioritize multiple assignments efficiently.
- Collaborate with coworkers, law enforcement, and professional witnesses.
Requirements
- Licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio pursuant to Section 4705.01 of the Ohio Revised Code.
- Experience as a prosecutor in federal or state court (preferred: federal court experience).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience as a prosecutor in federal or state court.
- Experience in fraud investigation and prosecution.

- Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
