About the role
Provide litigation and general counsel for state agency clients, including handling complex and high-profile cases in health care and public health law.
Responsibilities
- Handle litigation related to Medicaid, health department licensing, compliance, appeals, and administrative matters.
- Offer legal opinions and strategic guidance on enforcement, procurement, and regulatory disputes.
- Practice across administrative, state, and federal courts.
Requirements
- Must be licensed or eligible to waive into the Colorado Bar.
- Strong research, writing, and litigation skills.
- Background in health care, public health, regulatory compliance, or administrative law preferred.
- Experience with complex rate setting, reimbursement methodologies, financial reporting, trust, estate, or probate law is advantageous.
