About the role
Evaluates and treats athletic injuries and illnesses including rehabilitation.
Supervises athletic training at an athletic practice and competition.
Serves as a liaison with the Sports Medicine Care Team for a particular sport.
Maintains all medical documentation relating to the assigned sport.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and one (1) year of related experience required.
- Currently certified as an Athletic Trainer by the Board of Certification (BOC).
- Must obtain licensure for Athletic Training by the State of Alabama upon hire.
Qualifications
- Adheres to all institution, conference and National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) rules and regulations.
- Reports all known NCAA violations in accordance with institutional, conference and NCAA policies and guidelines.
Skills
- Knowledge of athletic training principles and practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
