About the role
This full-time, twelve-month position will coordinate medical care and comprehensive athletic training services. The role includes performing administrative duties, maintaining comprehensive records of athletic injuries and treatments, formulating effective therapeutic treatment and rehabilitation plans, and making referrals. The successful candidate will interact regularly with team physicians, coaching, and administrative staff.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate medical care and provide comprehensive athletic training services
- Perform administrative duties as assigned
- Maintain comprehensive records of athletic injuries and treatments
- Formulate effective therapeutic treatment and rehabilitation plans
- Make referrals and interact regularly with team physicians, coaching, and administrative staff
- Adhere to NCAA, Missouri Valley Conference rules and regulations
- Embrace and model the mission and core values of Bradley Athletics
- Work irregular hours and weekends
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
- NATA/BOC certification
- Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification
- Eligibility for an Illinois state license
- Valid driver’s license
- Proficiency with computer applications and general office software
