About the role

The University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria (UICOMP) seeks candidates for the position(s) of Assistant/Associate/Professor-Pediatric Rheumatology in the Department of Pediatrics.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide acute and ongoing consultative care to children that have rheumatologic illnesses in both the hospital and outpatient settings.
  • Participate in education and training programs for medical students and residents and fellows in the Department of Pediatrics.
  • Participate in Collaborative research activities of the Division of Rheumatology and department.
  • Perform other duties of a university faculty member including committee assignments, curriculum development and student counseling.
  • Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • MD/DO
  • Eligible for Illinois licensure
  • BC/BE Pediatrics and/or Pediatric Rheumatology

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong interest in education and clinical research.

Salary

The budgeted salary range for the position is $175,500 to $216,233 per year. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, while also considering internal equity.
