Assistant/Associate Professor or Assistant/Associate Professor of Professional Practice - Occupational Therapy
About the role
The Harris College of Nursing & Health Sciences at Texas Christian University (TCU) invites applications for a full-time faculty position as a Tenure-Track Assistant/Associate Professor or Assistant/Associate Professor of Professional Practice for the developing entry-level Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) Program.
Qualifications
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to maintain an active research/scholarship agenda (including extramural funding)
- Teaching proficiency within your area of expertise
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as an occupational therapist in the State of Texas
- Earned a Doctoral degree (OTD, PhD, EdD or equivalent) with three years clinical experience preferred
- Advanced clinical credentialing/expertise in areas like geriatrics, neuro-rehabilitation, hand therapy, etc., are especially encouraged
Responsibilities
- Advising and mentoring graduate students
- Contributing to university and community service in alignment with institutional missions
Salary and Rank
Salary and rank will be commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
