Assistant/Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice NTTA
LIU Pharmacy invites applications for full-time, non-tenure track, Assistant/Associate Professor positions in the Division of Pharmacy Practice, with openings in inpatient general medicine and ambulatory care.
About the role
Faculty will precept students in advanced pharmacy practice experiences, applying pharmaceutical knowledge to various disease states. The practice site will be one of the prestigious medical centers, hospitals, or clinics within the five boroughs of New York City affiliated with the College of Pharmacy. Responsibilities also include didactic teaching, providing clinical services at the practice site, and service at the College. Faculty members are expected to build a portfolio of scholarly work within their area of interest.
Responsibilities
- Precept students in advanced pharmacy practice experiences
- Apply pharmaceutical knowledge to a variety of disease states
- Provide didactic teaching
- Deliver clinical services at the practice site
- Contribute to service at the College
- Develop a portfolio of scholarly work in your area of interest
Qualifications
- PharmD degree
- PGY 1 residency (required)
- PGY 2 residency training (preferred)
- Candidates without residency training may be considered if they possess significant comparable experience
- Licensed in the State of New York or eligible for licensure within 180 days of employment
