Assistant/Associate Professor of Nursing, Undergraduate Program

About the role

The successful candidate will teach undergraduate nursing students through high-quality, in-person instruction in classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical settings. Teaching responsibilities will include foundational nursing courses and clinical instruction in areas such as fundamental medical-surgical nursing.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate nursing students through high-quality, in-person instruction in classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical settings.
• Teach foundational nursing courses and clinical instruction in areas such as fundamental medical-surgical nursing.
• Engage in student advising and mentoring.
• Participate in scholarly activities.
• Contribute to service to the School of Nursing and the University.
• Practice nursing in accordance with Christian values and principles.

Requirements

• A terminal degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
• Current Florida RN license.
• Experience in nursing education and clinical practice.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
