About the role

Penn State Dickinson Law invites applications from both entry-level and lateral candidates for multiple tenure-track or tenured faculty positions (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor of Law), with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2026, at our Carlisle and University Park, Pennsylvania locations.

Responsibilities

  • Produce high-quality scholarly research in the field of law
  • Teach law courses and demonstrate excellence in the classroom
  • Serve as a mentor to student research assistants
  • Contribute to the academic success and bar exam preparation areas
  • Explore additional teaching interests aligned with the evolving needs of the law school

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Relevant teaching or practice experience
  • Judicial clerkships at any level
  • Interdisciplinary scholarly work
  • Post-J.D. studies, degrees, or certificates

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
