Assistant/Associate Professor of Graduate Psychology - Director of Clinical Training for PsyD

Type: Full-Time/Part-Time (0.5 to 1.0 FTE), Tenure-Track, 12-month appointment beginning Fall 2026

Salary: 0.5 FTE: $40,732–$45,868 USD | 1.0 FTE: $81,463–$91,735 USD

Northwest University is a Christian coeducational institution related to the Assemblies of God, located in Kirkland, Washington, 10 miles from downtown Seattle. The doctoral program in counseling psychology is APA-accredited.

Responsibilities

• Teach graduate psychology courses
• Aid students in clinical training
• Guide student research activities
• Provide leadership over practicum and internship placement and clinical training of doctoral-level graduate students
• Participate in academic research and produce scholarly presentations and publications
• Participate in university life including committee work

Requirements

• Ph.D., Psy.D., or Ed.D. preferably in counseling or clinical psychology
• Current psychologist license in Washington State or license eligible
• Clinical experience preferred
• Research experience preferred
• Supervision experience preferred
• University teaching experience preferred
