About the role
The Creighton University School of Dentistry seeks a motivated individual to support the didactic and clinical curricula of the school, including patient services through the school's pre-doctoral clinic model. This 12-month tenure-track position works with a team of dedicated faculty building on a rich legacy of excellence in dental education.
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of the curriculum notably in the preclinical courses, labs, and pre-doctoral clinic.
- Work closely with a team of dedicated faculty members.
- Collaborate in a collegial, interdisciplinary environment.
Requirements
- Required DDS or DMD degree from an ADA/CODA accredited institution or an equivalent degree from an international program combined with an ADA/CODA accredited certificate of completion from an applicable specialty.
- Or a DDS or DMD degree from an ADA/CODA accredited institution with ADA/CODA accredited post graduate training in Advanced General Dentistry or demonstrated endodontics experience deemed commensurate with post-graduate training.
- Successful completion of Part I and Part II of the National Board Dental Examination or the Integrated National Board Dental Examination prior to the date of hire.
- An unrestricted Nebraska Dental License or eligibility to obtain one, along with credentialing from applicable third-party payer systems.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Specialty certificate and/or Master of Science in Endodontics from an ADA/CODA accredited endodontics program.
- Certificate from an ADA/CODA accredited post graduate program in General Dentistry (AEGD/GPR).
- Prior full-time or >50% dental academic position with experiential evidence of course assignments in clinical, laboratory, classroom teaching support of endodontic curriculum.
Preferred Qualifications
- Specialty certificate and/or Master of Science in Endodontics from an ADA/CODA accredited endodontics program.
- Certificate from an ADA/CODA accredited post graduate program in General Dentistry (AEGD/GPR).
- Prior full-time or >50% dental academic position with experiential evidence of course assignments in clinical, laboratory, classroom teaching support of endodontic curriculum.
