General Summary

The Assistant/Associate/Professor of Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery will provide clinical and classroom instruction in oral and maxillofacial surgery to pre-doctoral dental students at our community-based clinics. Academic rank will be awarded based on clinical and academic experience.

Essential Job Functions

  • Provides classroom and clinical instruction in oral and maxillofacial surgery
  • Performs other related duties as assigned and based on departmental needs

Education

  • Required: DMD/DDS

Experience

  • Required: Minimum 6 years of clinical practice or teaching experience
  • Required: Specialty Certification in oral and maxillofacial surgery from a CODA-accredited program
  • Preferred: Board certification in oral and maxillofacial surgery is desired
  • Preferred: Academic/clinical teaching experience
  • Required: Licensure and specialty certification in oral and maxillofacial surgery in Washington State
  • Preferred: Clinical skills experience
