Position Summary

Primary Responsibilities
Teaching involves classroom, laboratory and clinical courses at the undergraduate level.
Service includes administrative and committee responsibilities at the Program, School, and University levels as well as community and professional activities.
Faculty are expected to pursue personal/professional development through continuing education, work toward advanced degrees and participate in professional activities that will support and promote the program.
Basic Qualifications
- Current or previous teaching experience in a University-based medical imaging program.
- Masters degree preferred (must complete within 2 years of hire).
- Individuals with a bachelor’s degree will be appointed as Acting Lecturer until master’s degree has been completed.
- Current credentials in ARRT Radiography and/or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
- Documented experience in supervision, instruction, evaluation, student guidance and educational theories and techniques.
- At least two years clinical experience as a registered radiographer and/or sonographer in the professional discipline.
