Assistant/Associate Professor of Clinical Radiology, Community, Fort Wayne

Position Summary

Indiana University School of Medicine and Indiana University Health invite applications for a procedural-focused Community Radiologist to join our growing team in Fort Wayne, Indiana, as we prepare to open a state-of-the-art hospital and outpatient campus in 2027. This is an exciting opportunity to build and shape imaging services in a thriving, fast-growing region within the state’s largest and most respected health system. The ideal candidate will be a versatile diagnostic radiologist with a strong procedural skill set and a passion for providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a collegial community setting. Key Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of image-guided procedures (biopsies, drainages, arthrograms, joint injections, etc.)
• Interpret general diagnostic imaging studies, including CT, MRI, ultrasound, and X-ray
• Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and clinical collaborations
• Contribute to the development of procedural and workflow protocols for a new facility

Position Highlights

• Estimated total compensation (salary + benefits) starts at $685,000 for Assistant Professor, with ample opportunities for supplemental income

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications: MD or DO degree, with board certification or eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology (ABR or AOBR); eligible for Indiana medical licensure; strong procedural competence and interest in community-based radiology; excellent communication and leadership skills
