Responsibilities
The primary duties of this position are to maintain a vigorous, creative, nationally funded research program, supervise graduate students, and teach physiology to medical and dental students.
Qualifications
- EDUCATION: PhD, MD, or equivalent degree.
- EXPERIENCE: Interested in candidates with active research programs to complement existing departmental strengths in cardiovascular and renal diseases, diabetes, ion channel physiology, signal transduction, mitochondrial biology, injury and repair. The qualified candidate will have an excellent record of research accomplishments and national funding.
