Assistant/Associate Professor, Business Statistics

About the role

The Feliciano School of Business at Montclair State University invites applications for a one-year, full-time non-tenure-track Business Statistics faculty position starting August 28, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses at undergraduate and graduate levels in both face-to-face and online delivery modes.
• Contribute to the academic mission of the Feliciano School of Business, which includes transforming students into tomorrow's business leaders.
• Engage in research and scholarship that aligns with the department's focus on business analytics and data science.

Requirements

• Hold a master’s degree in statistics, business analytics, data science or a related field.
• Have practical experience in applied statistics, business analytics or related fields.
• Demonstrate excellence in teaching statistics or related courses, evidenced by peer and student evaluations.

Qualifications

Skills

• Strong knowledge of statistical methods and business analytics.
• Ability to teach effectively at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Experience in developing and delivering online courses.

Pay

• $80,436.03 - $90,492.43 annually.

Schedule

• One-year, ten-month, non-tenure-track faculty appointment.
