Assistant, Associate or Professor - Regular Title Series
About the role
The University of Kentucky (UK) College of Pharmacy (COP), Department of Pharmacy Practice and Science seeks a full-time, tenure-eligible appointment in the Regular Title Series at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor.
Responsibilities
Developing and maintaining an active research program in the area of health services research, dissemination and implementation, team science, community engaged scholarship, and/or pharmacoepidemiology
Securing extramural funding to support the research program
Developing collaborations to integrate health services research, dissemination and implementation, team science, community engaged scholarship, and/or pharmacoepidemiology into practice-based and clinical research
Advancing the knowledge of health services research, dissemination and implementation, team science, community engaged scholarship, and/or pharmacoepidemiology research both locally, regionally, and nationally
Mentoring graduate students and others as appropriate based on rank
Qualifications
A PhD, PharmD/PhD, MD/PhD in a related field
A developing or sustained record of scholarly achievement, as appropriate to rank, in an area of health services research, dissemination and implementation, team science, community engaged scholarship, and/or pharmacoepidemiology
A strong track record of acquiring extramural research funding or high potential to acquire extramural funding as appropriate based on rank
Skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
A commitment to the development of and scholarly participation in health services research, dissemination and implementation, team science, community engaged scholarship, and/or pharmacoepidemiology research programs and a collaborative orientation toward University, community, state and national activities that enhance health
Strength in team building, as appropriate based on rank
