About the role
The University of Kentucky seeks an Assistant, Associate, or Professor of Pediatric Gastroenterology to provide clinical services, teach, and engage in research at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Kentucky Children’s Hospital, and outreach locations.
Responsibilities
- Provide pediatric Gastroenterology services in clinics, inpatient service, and on-call service
- Teach in the Department’s courses and with resident training
- Collaborate on clinical projects and care reports
- Participate in professional development activities
Requirements
- MD, DO, or equivalent degree
- Minimum residency training
- Eligible for or licensed to practice medicine in the state of Kentucky
- Eligible for or certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and sub-board of Pediatric GI
Qualifications
- Experience in pediatric gastroenterology
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
