About the role

The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) in the University of Kentucky’s College of Health Sciences is currently accepting applications for a full-time (12-month), Faculty Member to serve as the Doctor of Audiology degree Program Director.

Responsibilities

  • Provide visionary and strategic leadership for our Doctor of Audiology (AuD) program, ensuring academic excellence, innovation in clinical education, and continued accreditation compliance.
  • Oversee curriculum development, faculty coordination, student advising, and clinical partnerships in collaboration with Director of Clinical Education.
  • Mentor faculty, engage in scholarly activities and recruit students while fostering a collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Doctoral Degree in Audiology (PhD, AuD or related area, EdD).
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology, Kentucky audiology licensure or eligibility.

Qualifications

  • Qualified applicants in all areas of Audiology expertise will be considered, but preference will be given to those with experience in program administration.

The rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications and experience. This is a tenure eligible position. The specific instructional assignments will be based on program needs as well as areas of expertise and negotiated with the Chair of the Department of Communicative Sciences and Disorders annually.
