Assistant, Associate or Full Professor of Neuroradiology

Join the Department of Radiology & Medical Imaging at the University of Virginia (UVA) as a fellowship-trained, board-eligible or board-certified Diagnostic Neuroradiologist. This role involves clinical work, teaching residents and fellows, and participating in research, with responsibilities spanning adult and pediatric diagnostic neuroradiology, specialized procedures, and academic endeavors.

About the Department

The UVa Health System features a renowned neurosciences team, including neuroradiologists, neurosurgeons, neurologists, MR physicists, and ENT surgeons. It serves as a referral hospital for the Mid-Atlantic region in neurological, neuro-oncological, craniofacial, and otolaryngological care. The department includes nine divisions, ~60 full-time clinical faculty, 14 research faculty, 47 residents, and 23 fellows/instructors, operating within a Level 1 Trauma Center with robust transplant and cardiovascular services. Responsibilities

• Perform clinical work in adult and pediatric diagnostic neuroradiology.
• Teach and mentor residents and fellows.
• Participate in research and academic activities.
• Conduct specialized procedures, including USG, CT, and fluoro-guided head/neck and spine interventions.
• For tenure-eligible positions: demonstrate peer-reviewed publications and a record as principal investigator for extramural grant and clinical trials funding.

Requirements

• MD degree.
• Fellowship training in Neuroradiology.
• Board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Radiology (ABR).
• ABR CAQ eligible.
• Eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• Experience performing USG, CT, and fluoro-guided head/neck and spine procedures.
