About the role
The Indiana University Luddy School of Informatics, Computing and Engineering at IU Indianapolis invites applications for open rank tenured or tenure-track assistant, associate or full professor positions in the discipline of various computer science areas. Appointments will begin August 1, 2024 on the Indianapolis campus.
Responsibilities
- Exhibit an outstanding scholarly record of teaching and research, evidenced by high-impact peer-reviewed publications and a forward-looking, externally funded research agenda as Principal Investigator (PI).
- Research expertise in any promising area of computer science, with an emphasis on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, and their applications in biomedical and health sciences.
Requirements
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring students.
- Show evidence of successful external funding for research projects.
- Have a Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field.
Qualifications
- Outstanding academic credentials and a proven track record of research productivity.
- Ability to contribute to the educational mission of the school through teaching and mentorship.
- Strong potential for future leadership in the field of computer science.
